Environmental Statement

Madison Brook (Group) Limited
For the financial year ending 31 December 2024

Introduction

At Madison Brook, we are committed to conducting business responsibly, ethically, and transparently. We recognise the importance of environmental stewardship in the property and construction sectors and take seriously our responsibility to minimise our environmental impact across all areas of operation.

This statement outlines the steps we have taken during the financial year ending 31 December 2024 to manage and reduce the environmental footprint of our organisation and those we work with.

Group Structure and Operations

Madison Brook (Group) Limited (“the Group”) is a multi-disciplinary property services group headquartered in London, operating across Greater London and the Home Counties.

The Group comprises the following principal subsidiaries:

  • Madison Brook (Agency) Limited – residential sales, lettings, and property management services
  • Madison Brook (Construction) Limited – design, refurbishment and build services
  • Madison Brook (Living Markets) Limited – affordable housing, investment acquisition, and compliance-led portfolio management

The Group employs approximately 100 individuals across multiple office locations and site operations. From time to time, the Group may acquire or establish new companies in related sectors.

Supply Chains

Our supply chains support both internal operations and external service delivery, and include:

  • Building contractors, trades, and maintenance providers
  • Professional service providers (legal, IT, accountancy, software, and consultancy)
  • Marketing, media and creative suppliers
  • Recruitment partners
  • Utility companies, telecoms providers and office services
  • Local authorities, housing partners and specialist consultants

We recognise that the nature of construction, maintenance, and property operations can result in environmental impact. Our procurement and delivery models are designed to promote sustainable practices and reduce harm wherever reasonably practicable.

Policies and Approach

We are committed to integrating environmental responsibility into all aspects of our business. Our environmental principles are underpinned by the following commitments:

  • Minimising waste and maximising recycling across all sites and offices
  • Preventing pollution and mitigating the impact of any environmental incidents
  • Reducing our carbon footprint through energy efficiency and transport initiatives
  • Complying with all relevant environmental legislation, codes of practice, and contractual obligations
  • Promoting continual environmental improvement and responsibility throughout the organisation

Our Environmental Management Policy is reviewed regularly and is implemented through site protocols, staff training, and contractor management processes. Environmental considerations are factored into project planning and operational decision-making.

Training and Awareness

All Madison Brook staff are made aware of their environmental responsibilities through our induction programme, toolbox talks, and ongoing communications.

Training and supervision are delivered to ensure that employees and contractors understand:

  • The environmental impacts of their activities
  • The importance of pollution prevention
  • Their role in contributing to waste reduction and sustainable outcomes

This ensures that our teams are not only compliant but proactive in upholding high environmental standards.

Monitoring and Reporting

Environmental systems and procedures are monitored by senior management, with advice and support from our health, safety and environmental consultants.

Performance is reviewed at regular intervals to identify opportunities for improvement, and all staff are encouraged to report environmental concerns or suggestions. We take a collaborative approach to managing risks and sharing best practices.

Ongoing Action and Commitment

While we are proud of the steps taken to date, we recognise the need for ongoing vigilance and action. In 2025, we are committed to:

  • Expanding our environmental monitoring and reporting mechanisms
  • Setting formal carbon reduction objectives across key business units
  • Strengthening supplier engagement on sustainability standards
  • Continuing to promote an environmentally conscious culture across the Group
