MBI has signed the Armed Forces Covenant in a ceremony at the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich on 8th July 2019. The Armed Forces Covenant is a formal pledge to support the members of the Armed Forces, their families and veterans. A full copy of the pledge is attached to the bottom of this article. Our support extends to offering employment opportunities, free or discounted services and advocacy of the Armed Forces to our clients and partners.

Our hosts the First Battalion, The Royal Anglian Regiment (known as the Vikings) have just returned from operations in Afghanistan to their home base in Woolwich. Aside from the important local connection, our COO Martin Hedley MBE served with this regiment prior to retiring from the Army.

Our CEO John Lipper signed on behalf of the MBI Group, whilst the Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Phillip Moxey MBE signed on behalf of the Ministry of Defence. We look forward to working closely with Vikings and Woolwich Garrison, as we set about fulfilling our pledges and work towards the Armed Forces Covenant Silver Award later this year.
