This week we found out the fantastic news that we have been shortlisted for the 2019 Negotiator ‘Community Champion’ award. We have received a number of awards over the years, but this is the first time we have made the shortlist for this particular national level award.
Our brand is built on trusted partnerships operating across a range of property services, we invest heavily in recruiting highly motivated, ethical and driven people who want more than just a job. These people are naturally passionate about helping others, and our Community Engagement (CE) initiatives are part of us delivering on this promise to them. Our experience is if you give to your local community, as a business in the long term you will be the net beneficiary.
As a business we have been actively engaged with the community in a number of different ways. We ran an internship programme in partnership with the University of Greenwich, and are set to repeat this in 2020 and have actually expanded the programme to include Goldsmiths University. We have been closely engaged with our local Armed Forces community and signed the Armed Forces Covenant in June, and have also been supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Trust with a number of charity fundraising events. Since we made the submission to enter the Negotiator Awards we have also committed to support Barking Under 16s Football Club as their primary sponsor for the 2019/20 season.
We will find out if we have won the award at a gala dinner at the Grosvenor Park Hotel, Park Lane, London on 29th November 2019.
