New Twickenham Office
“The decision to acquire our new office in Church Street, Twickenham was originally taken in the Autumn of last year – which already seems a lifetime ago due to the current Coronavirus Lockdown” says Charles Stevens, the new Office Head for Madison Brook International (MBI).
“We are now very much Open For Business,” he adds, “despite not being physically at the office. We are particularly keen users of technology and have already let a number of apartments using our e-Valuations and video flythrough technology. In fact, the current lockdown is actually accelerating our use of remote and time saving technologies.
” The office location was very specifically chosen to support an existing and expanding Client base, here in the west of London, building on the tremendous success of MBI’s first ten years of operation in and around Docklands.
“Whilst the core of what we do is Residential Agency (sales, lettings, management), we also have in-house Refurbishment and Development Teams that have carried out over 100 successful refurbishments for owners and private landlords in ‘TW’ postcodes over the last 18 months.
” Charles has been a Chartered Surveyor for over 30 years, 15 of which have been spent with his family, living in nearby Teddington. “To call these times ‘challenging’ is, of course, an understatement in the present circumstances. Our hearts go out to everyone who is suffering as a result of this dreadful coronavirus. But the times will change – and for the better. No matter what the market conditions, we aim to support all of our Clients across a number of property services, whether they want to sell or let their homes; carry out repairs & upgrades; fit-out a ‘proper’, air-conditioned home office; convert existing space for relatives’ accommodation or similar.”
He continues, “Many of our existing contacts are requesting information about the planning & physical process, opportunities and costs of formalising Working From Home (‘WFH’) arrangements. The temporary, but forced requirement, not to travel into places of work has already convinced many people that, perhaps, commuting is not quite as essential as previous generations have believed. Superfast fibre broadband, coupled with improved calling & conferencing software has not just revolutionised street-by-street, virtual Pub Quizzes(!), but has also shown many people that the real practicalities and society benefits of WFH a couple of days per week are within affordable reach.”
Madison Brook International looks forward to helping you with your project, the return of normal life and welcoming you to 16 Church Street.
